Compare Norn [Term?]. First attested in 1698 by Jacob Laugesen Bork spelled as Kliken. Before Ivar Aasen was also attested by Nils Leganger in Osøyro (1743), Laurents Hallager (1802) and W. F. Koren Christie.

The word was used amongst fishermen as a noa name for raven while fishing, similarly to skinnbukse. [1]
