- (medicine, ophthalmology) Kayser-Fleischer ring: dark, often brown or greenish-brown, rings that appear around the edge of the cornea (the clear front part of the eye) due to copper deposits in the Descemet's membrane, and are a sign of Wilson's disease or other liver conditions
