Etymology
Learned borrowing from English (possibly American) beaver. Coined by unknown translator in a 1996 book titled Biwara dan Cucurut (original title: Beaver and shrew) to translate beaver, popularized in 2020 after Indonesian Wikipedia used the term for the title of the article.
