    Sprains were cured by means of a woollen thread spun from black wool tied round the affected part. It was known as da wristeen treed and on it were cast three knots called aaber knots, each consisting of three hitches. […] Each subsequent day the old woman would remove one hitch, blowing on it as she did so, and when all the knots had been untied the sprain was cured.
