Yasuɛ
Kabyle
Etymology
Learned borrowing from Arabic يَسُوع (yasūʕ), the Christian Arabic form of the name. Kabyle Christians, most of whom are recent converts to Protestantism, originally used the Islamic form Ɛisa, but Yasuɛ now appears to be replacing it to some degree.
