        From Proto-Sino-Tibetan *kV-sum (STEDT), but the rhyme correspondence (confirmed to be *aɣ and not *oɣ by the /u/ instead of /o/ in the Malimasa reflex) is irregular.

        The vocalism of Naxi seeq, which normally would come from a putative *si, is irregular. The *i could be analogical to *ŋi (“two”).
