    • 1958 June, John Marshall, “The Forest of Dean Central Railway”, in Railway Magazine, page 426:
      From January, 1873, the train is shown as terminating at Howbeach, and a note reads, "Engine to run to New Fancy Junction for water when required," which suggests that traffic no longer came down from the colliery, although in the timetable a year later Moseley Green traffic is mentioned.
