Mercēdonius (feminine Mercēdonia, neuter Mercēdonium); first/second-declension adjective

1. Of Mercedonius, an intercalary month added at the end of February to realign the lunar procession of the months with the tropical solar year, before the Julian reforms made it unnecessary.
