Leptoneta
Translingual
Etymology
From lepto- (“thin, narrow”, from Ancient Greek λεπτός (leptós)) + Ancient Greek νήτη (nḗtē, “the highest note or lowest string of a string instrument”, variant of νεᾰ́τη (neắtē)). The second element is likely an allusion to the spider's silk.
