From reconstructed Classical Persian هَخَامَنِشِی (haxāmanišī), from reconstructed Classical Persian هَخَامَنِش (haxāmaniš, “Achaemenes”) [from Old Persian 𐏃𐎧𐎠𐎶𐎴𐎡𐏁 (h-x-a-m-n-i-š /Haxāmaniš/, “Achaemenes”)] + ـِی (-ī, suffix forming adjectives). By surface analysis, Hakhamanish + -i.
