1. (noun-forming suffix) Added to a verb to form a noun denoting the result or means of action.

   ‎fest (“to paint”) + ‎-ék → ‎festék (“paint”)

   ‎játszik (“to play”) + ‎-ék → ‎játék (“toy, game”)

   ‎hasad (“to rip”) + ‎-ék → ‎hasadék (“fissure, rip”)
