Blend of 포 (po, “four”) + 해트트릭 (haeteuteurik, “hat trick”).
This is the word that spread rapidly among South Korea media and fans when Son Heung-min, then playing for Tottenham Hotspur F.C., scored four goals in a single match against Southampton F.C. on September 20, 2020.[1]
