From an eggcorn of 챗지피티 (chaetjipiti, “ChatGPT”) posted in the Everytime forum for Handong Global University, equivalent to 채찍 (chaejjik, “whip”) +‎ 피티 (piti, “personal training”). Subsequently popularized for its comedic effect.
