Etymology
The present determiner form (좋은 (jo'eun)) of 좋다 (jota, “to be good, to be nice”) + the noun 저녁 (jeonyeok, “evening”) and the high formality - high politeness (아주높임 (ajunopim)) form of 이다 (ida, “to be”).
