- (Hokkien) a kind of delicacy from the Southern Min region where glutinous rice is ground into pulp, pressed and dried, mixed with sugar and kneaded into skin where sweet fillings such as mung bean or sesame seed are put inside (meat and other fillings can also be put in) which is then wrapped into a round shape and deep-fried
