Formed from お (o-, honorific prefix) + 寝(ね) (ne, 連(れん)用(よう)形(けい) (ren'yōkei, “stem or continuative form”) of the verb 寝(ね)る (neru, “to sleep”)) + 寝(ね) (ne, reduplicated), with a geminating ん (n) inserted between the two 寝(ね) (ne).
