ἄγκος

From Proto-Hellenic *ánkos, from Proto-Indo-European *h₂énkos (“curve”).^[1] Cognates include Sanskrit अङ्कस् (áṅkas), Latin ancus and Old Armenian անկիւն (ankiwn, “angle”).
