Perhaps from Proto-Turkic *dǖŕ (“face”) + ᠊ᠰᠦ (-sw /-sü/).[1] Compare Middle Mongol ᠴᠢᠷᠠᠢ (čirai, “face”) > Uzbek chiroy (“appearance”) for the semantic development.
