สู้ยิบตา

From corruption of สู้ (sûu, “to fight”) +‎ เย็บ (yép, “to suture”) +‎ ตา (dtaa, “eye”), literally “to fight [despite a] sutured eye[s]”; originated from cockfighting in which a cock is harmed to the point that one or both of its eyes are injured and require suturing.^[1]
