1. One of the letters in the வடமொழி எழுத்துகள் (vaṭamoḻi eḻuttukaḷ, “letters from the northern tongue”), used mainly in loanwords.

This letter is mostly obsolete and is usually replaced with ச (ca) or ஷ (ṣa).
