Borrowed from Telugu జాస్తి (jāsti),[1] from Classical Persian زیادتی (ziyādatī), from Arabic زِيَادَةِ (ziyādati). Compare Marathi जास्त (jāsta), Kannada ಜಾಸ್ತಿ (jāsti).
