Etymology

Sanskritic formation from સત્ય (satya, truth) +‎ આગ્રહ (āgrah, insistence, pertinacity). Coined by Indian freedom fighter Gandhi in 1908, who says in his autobiography that Maganlal Gandhi coined an earlier version of it, સદાગ્રહ (sadāgrah).
