   • 1936, ગિજુભાઈ બધેકા [Gijubhai Badheka], વનવૃક્ષો [vanvŕkṣo, Trees of the Forest]:

     ⁠કોઈના જૂના ઘરમાં જઈને હંમેશાં સીસમના ઇસ્કોતરાની તપાસ કરવી; ઘણા જૂના કારીગરોએ આગળ ઉપર એવા ઇસ્કોતરા બનાવેલા છે. મેં ઉપર કહ્યું તેમ એવો એક ઇસ્કોતરો મારા ઘરમાં હતો.
