Etymology
From Middle Persian [Book Pahlavi needed] (cʾp̄wk' /čābuk/, “agile, nimble; excellent”), Northern Luri چںڤوک (çəvok), suffixed from an unattested root borrowed as Old Armenian ճեպ (čep, “haste”). Akin to Old Armenian ճապուկ (čapuk), Old Georgian ჭაპუკი (č̣aṗuḳi), ჭაბუკი (č̣abuḳi), Middle Iranian borrowings.
