Uyghur

ئى • (i) (no case)

The thirty-first letter of the Uyghur alphabet, written in the Arabic script; preceded by ئې and followed by ي.

In UEY(Uyghur Ereb Yëziqi), if a word begin with a vowel, there will always a hamza before the vowel letter. e.g. ئېغىز (ëghiz). And when there is no consonant between two vowels, a hamza is always placed between them. e.g. سائەت (sa'et).
