יקותיאל
Hebrew
Etymology
The first element is probably from the root י־ק־ה (y-q-h). י־ק־ה (y-q-h) probably means to obey, though some suggest to preserve. Probably related to יָקֶה (yaké) and יִקְהָה (yik'há, “obedience”).
The name can thus be translated as "obedience of God"/"obedience to God". Possibly "preservation of God".
