1. singular form of יד (yád)‎ with third-person masculine singular personal pronoun as possessor.

     So he thrust his hand out and grabbed hold of it

1. This term needs a translation to English (Clearly a form of something, but what? From context (see quotes) looks like a past tense; perhaps like סַבּוּנִי (Ps. 118:11)? (See also Lamentations 3:53.)). Please help out and add a translation, then remove the text {{rfdef}}.
