     אֵין מְרַסְּקִין לֹא אֶת הַשַּׁחַת, וְלֹא אֶת הֶחָרוּבִין לִפְנֵי בְהֵמָה, בֵּין דַּקָּה בֵּין גַּסָּה. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה מַתִּיר בֶּחָרוּבִין בַּדַּקָּה׃

     [We] do not chop up hay or carobs for livestock, whether small or large; Rabbi Judah permits [this] for carobs for small [livestock].
