הַנְהָגָה • (han'hagá) f (plural indefinite הַנְהָגוֹת, singular construct הַנְהָגַת־)

1. (archaic) driving
   • a. 500 C.E., Babylonian Talmud. Bava Metzi'a, section 9.1:

     לְעוֹלָם לֹא קָנָה עַד שֶׁתְּהֵא מְשִׁיכָה בְּגָמָל וְהַנְהָגָה בַּחֲמוֹר. קָתָנֵי מִיהַת:

     Actually, one acquires an animal only through pulling in the case of a camel or driving in the case of a donkey, as that is the manner in which they are normally directed.

2. (dated) conduct, behavior

   Synonym: הִתְנַהֲגוּת

3. (countable and uncountable) leadership, A group of leaders.

   דרושה הנהגה חדשה ― drushá han'hagá khadashá ― new leadership is needed

   להנהגות במערב קשה להתמודד עם הסוגיה. ― It's hard for western leaderships to deal with the issue.
