Compare Jewish Babylonian Aramaic הַלָּא (hallāʾ, farther, further, beyond), Classical Syriac ܠܗܰܠ (ləhal), ܘܰܠܗܰܠ (waləhal, farther, further, beyond), Arabic هَلَا (halā, forward! on!).
