  • Based on the recorded examples of Ket, it can be seen that this verb primarily marks the third person inanimate-class objects (marked on prefix position P3) for semantic reasons (for animate objects are rarely 'turned', 'twirled' or 'unbent'.), despite there being no theoretically grammatical limitation on other gender-class objects. This yields primarily two forms of possible conjugations (inanimate-marking tripartite verb, P8-P3-R), excluding the regular imperative conjugation:
