сенбереӈ
Ket
Etymology
From earlier *senbedʌŋ (“shamanize, perform shamanic rituals”, infinitive verb), derived from Proto-Yeniseian *sen (“cure by singing”) + Proto-Ketic *beˤdʲʌ (“make, do”, infinitive verb) + Proto-Ketic *-ʌŋ (infinitive verb suffix).[1]
Also compare Ket сенаӈ (sénaŋ, “shaman, male shaman”), especially the root morpheme *сен- (“shamanic magic?”) for a doublet in Ket.
