сенбереӈ

Ket

Etymology

From earlier *senbedʌŋ (“shamanize, perform shamanic rituals”, infinitive verb), derived from Proto-Yeniseian *sen (cure by singing) + Proto-Ketic *beˤdʲʌ (make, do, infinitive verb) + Proto-Ketic *-ʌŋ (infinitive verb suffix).[1]

Also compare Ket сенаӈ (sénaŋ, shaman, male shaman), especially the root morpheme *сен- (“shamanic magic?”) for a doublet in Ket.
