From до- (do-) +‎ сягну́ти (sjahnúty) or досяга́ти (dosjaháty) +‎ -ну́ти (-núty). Compare Russian досягну́ть (dosjagnútʹ), Belarusian дасягну́ць (dasjahnúcʹ), Polish dosięgnąć.

Conjugation

In the second- and third-person singular forms and the plural forms of the future tense, the standard stress falls on the stem (corresponding to stress pattern 'c').[1] Nonstandard ending-stressed variants of these forms (corresponding to stress pattern 'b') are also shown in some online conjugation tables.[2][3]
