балсам
Bulgarian

From Greek βάλσαμο (válsamo) or Italian balsamo. Attributed by RBE to Phoenician, but with no etymon given; the corresponding Ancient Greek etymon does not appear to be derived from Phoenician but from Hebrew בָּשָׂם.
