- I standardavtal är á-pris definierat som ”pris exklusive mervärdesskatt för enhet av arbete”. Ett á-pris ska avse samtliga kostnader, inklusive kostnader för räntor och centraladministration samt vinst för en i entreprenadhandlingarnas mening färdig enhet av arbete.
- In standard contracts, the unit price is defined as “the price excluding value added tax for one unit of work.” A unit price shall include all costs, including costs for interest and central administration, as well as profit, for a unit of work completed in the sense of the contract documents.

Usage notes
- The à is rarely capitalised, even when the surrounding words begin with capital letters (see the 2023 quotation above), except when it occurs at the start of a sentence.
- Do not confuse with the term for price comparison per standard unit; see jämförpris (“unit price”).
