Zion Young (born March 18, 2004) is an American college football defensive end for the Missouri Tigers. He previously played for the Michigan State Spartans.
Early life
Young attended Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He committed to Michigan State University to play college football.[1]
College career
Young played at Michigan State from 2022 to 2023. In two years at Michigan State, he started 11 of 20 games, recording 47 tackles and 2.5 sacks.[2] After the 2023 season, Young transferred to the University of Missouri.[3][4] In his first year at Missouri in 2024 he started all 13 games and had 42 tackles and 2.5 sacks.[5][6] He returned to Missouri for his senior season in 2025.[7]
