Xu Bo (Chinese: 徐波; born 1978) is a Chinese entrepreneur and video game developer. He is the founder and chairman of Duoyi Network (Chinese: 多益网络), a privately held Chinese video game company best known for developing online and mobile games such as Fantasy Westward Journey and strategy games.

Personal life

Xu became the subject of public attention starting in 2024 following a legal dispute with a former partner, Tang Jing, which was widely reported by Chinese and international media. During the dispute, Tang alleged that Xu had fathered an extraordinarily large number of children through overseas surrogacy arrangements, at times claiming the figure exceeded 300. Xu publicly acknowledged fathering more than 100 children via surrogacy abroad but disputed higher figures circulating online. Media coverage noted that, if accurate, the claims would represent an unprecedented scale of surrogacy and sparked extensive debate on Chinese social media regarding ethics, legality, and wealth inequality.[1] [2]
