Xeno is a 2025 American science fiction adventure film[3] directed, written, produced, and edited by Matthew Loren Oates. The film follows a teenage girl who makes friends with an alien after it crashes nearby in the desert.
The film was released in the United States on September 19, 2025.

Production
On April 28, 2023, Lulu Wilson, Omari Hardwick, and Trae Romano are set to star in the film.[5] On April 30, 2023, Kevin Hart was set to produce the film under his Hartbeat production company.[6] Filming commenced at Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 8, 2023.[5] The Henson Company created the film’s alien creature.[4]
Music
In June 2025, Ryan Taubert was announced to be composing the score for the film.[1]
Release
On February 2025, Blue Fox Entertainment acquired the distribution rights to the film.[4] The film was released in the United States and Canada on September 19, 2025.[3]
