Windham Junior/Senior High School is a public high school in Windham, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Windham Exempted Village School District. Their nickname is the Bombers and compete as a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and is a member of the Northeastern Athletic Conference, except in football, where they belong to the Northern 8 Football Conference.
History
Opened in 1883, Windham High School serves students grades 9-12.[4]
in 1942, Windham was chosen as a site for an army camp for those stationed at their Ravenna Arsenal during World War II. Windham's mascot was named after the unerring "bombs" thrown by quarterback Bob Turner, Six-man All-American in 1939.[5]
