Bad Weißenstadt (German pronunciation: [baːt ˈvaɪsn̩ˌʃtat]), until July 2025 Weißenstadt[3] ([ˈvaɪsn̩ˌʃtat] ), is a town in the district of Wunsiedel, in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the shore of the picturesque Weißenstadter See (Weissenstadt Lake), in the Fichtel Mountains, on the river Ohře, 11 km northwest of Wunsiedel.
