Wafiullah Tarakhil (born 31 March 2007) is an Afghan cricketer. He made his international debut for the Afghanistan cricket team in October 2025 against Bangladesh. In domestic cricket, he plays for the Mis Ainak Knights and Hindukush Strikers.[1]
Career
Tarakhil made his List A debut for Junior Champion in the Green Afghanistan One Day Cup on 3 May 2023.[2] He made his Twenty20 debut for Afghanistan A against Oman on 17 October 2023.[3] He became third highest scorer (298) in the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League.[4]
In September 2025, he was named in Afghanistan's T20I squad for their series against Bangladesh in UAE.[5][6] He made his T20I debut on 3 October 2025 in the same series.[7][8]
