Vladimir Maidanichenko (Владимир Майданиченко) was the saxophonist in the second lineup of the Soviet band VIA Kaskad.[1]
Biography
The suffix -enko is common in Ukrainian surnames.[2] Maidanichenko was most likely from the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. He was most likely born in 1967 or earlier, as if he was born in 1967 then he would be 18 in 1985.[3]
He held the rank of sergeant in the Soviet Army.[4] He joined Kaskad as its saxophonist in its second lineup, which lasted from 1985 to 1988.[1][5] He was one of two saxophonists, the other being Alexander Nenya.[5] Maidanichenko left when the second lineup ended in 1988.[1]
