Veľké Rovné (Hungarian: Nagyróna) is a village and municipality in Bytča District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1408.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 540 metres (1,770 ft)[3] and covers an area of 40.60 km2 (15.68 sq mi) (2024).[4]
