Vanessa Pulgarin Monsalve (born September 13, 1991 in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia) is a Colombian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2025. She represented Colombia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand.[1] Vanessa was previously crowned Miss International Colombia 2017 and represented her country at Miss International 2017 in Japan.
Personal life
Vanessa Pulgarín was born in the city of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia on September 13, 1991. Daughter of Carlos Pulgarín and Dalila Monsalve Jiménez[2] Currently, she studies Social Communication and Journalism at the Pontifical Bolivarian University off her hometown.[3] Vanessa lived for several years in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, where she participated in several catwalks and photoshoots.[4]

Señorita Antioquia 2017
Vanessa was crowned Miss Antioquia on July 30, 2016 and represented her department at Miss Colombia 2017[5]
Señorita Colombia 2017
Pulgarín represented Antioquia at Miss Colombia 2017 and was the Virreina Nacional (1st Runner-up) to Laura Barjum of Cartagena.
Miss International 2017
She represented her country at Miss International 2017 which was held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on November 14, 2017 but was Unplaced.[6]
Miss Universe Colombia 2025
In 2025 she participated in the casting of Miss Universe Colombia of the RCN Channel that for the first time was held in reality format, where she was selected as Miss Antioquia. From the beginning of the competition she was classified as one of the big favorites, on the final night of September 28, 2025, managing to qualify within the Top 16 semifinalists, going again to the bouquet of the Top 5 and finally managing to be the winner of the title of Miss Universe Colombia 2025 [7][8] being crowned by Daniela Toloza from Valle del Cauca.

She represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2025 in Pak Kret, Thailand, where she placed in the Top 12.[9][10][11]

She won Best Revelation Colombian Model at PREMIOS CROMOS DE LA MODA 2014
