Valentina Becerra Peña is a Chilean politician and member of the Republican Party.

She was elected as Member of the Chamber of Deputies for the 13th District—which comprises the communes of El Bosque, La Cisterna and Lo Espejo—in the 2025 Chilean parliamentary election.

She obtained 22,199 votes (5.98%), securing one of the seats allocated to the Republican Party within the district.[1]

Political career

Becerra's election marked the consolidation of the Republican Party in several historically competitive districts of southern Santiago. Her campaign focused on public security, local governance, and conservative social policy. She has emphasised the need for stronger municipal coordination and reinforced neighbourhood-level policing.

Prior to her election to Parliament, Becerra was involved in community and territorial work in the communes of El Bosque and Lo Espejo, collaborating with local leaders and grassroots organisations. Her work placed strong emphasis on social order, support for families, and monitoring of municipal public spending.
