Islampur (formerly Ishwarpur) is a city and a municipal council in Sangli district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.[1][3]
The 2011 Census of India recorded a total of 67,391 residents in the town, predominantly Hindu & Muslim.[1] Ishwarpur, Maharashtra's geographical area is 138 hectares (1.38 km2).[1][2]
