Udne Ki Aasha (transl. Hope to Fly) is an Indian Hindi-language television family drama series that premiered on 12 March 2024 on Star Plus[1][2] and streams digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. It is produced by Rolling Tales Productions, and stars Neha Harsora and Kanwar Dhillon in lead roles.[3][4] It is the Hindi adaptation of Star Vijay's Tamil series Siragadikka Aasai.[5]
Plot
Set against a Marathi backdrop, Udne Ki Aasha revolves around the middle-class lives of Sachin and Sailee as they navigate the complexities of their relationship. It centers on Sailee's struggles as she encounters a roadblock in the form of a resistant husband and her efforts to inspire change, not just for their own growth, but for the betterment of their entire family.[6]

Production
Development
The concept was developed in December 2023 and the first promo was released in February 2024.[28]
Casting
In January 2024, Neha Harsora was cast to play the female lead,[29][30] while Kanwar Dhillon was cast as the male lead.[31][32]
Ratings
The show entered the list of the top five most rated shows of BARC in its opening week.[33] In week 47, it was one of the top 3 shows.[34] Since week 48, the show is consistently in competition with Anupamaa to occupy the top spot.[35][36]
