Tuzla Anatolian High School (Turkish: Tuzla Anadolu Lisesi) is a secondary public anatolian school located in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey.
History
It began teaching in 1959 as a middle school at Tuzla Central Elementary School. That year, there were 8 teachers and 153 students. It moved to its current building in the 1965–1966 academic year and began providing middle school education. In 1976, it took the name Tuzla High School and continued to provide education while also housing a middle school within its structure. Since 1992, only high school education has been provided, and a credit-based system has been implemented. In the 1995–1996 academic year, a Foreign Language-Focused High School department was opened, operating under a class-passing system as both a General High School and a Foreign Language-Focused High School. Since 2010, it has continued its education and teaching as Tuzla Anatolian High School. In the 2012–2013 academic year, our 9-classroom annex building became operational.[1]
