Trigonostoma scalare is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cancellariidae, the nutmeg snails.[1]
Description
This species attains around a size of 30 mm and large specimens can reach 45 mm.
They have a spiral shaped shell with colours from white to orange.
Sometimes taken in tangle nets, at Bohol
Distribution
Shallow to moderate depths in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Northern Australia, and the Indo-West Pacific.[2]
