Tibong is a crater on Ceres, a dwarf planet.[2][3]
Geography
The crater measures about 22 miles (36 kilometers) wide[2][4]. The area around Tibong crater has a high density of other impact craters[2][4][5]. It is located on the Yalode quadrangle.
Naming
It is named after Tibong, a malevolent spirit from the Land Dayak people located in Kalimantan who is believed to devour the rice crops[6].
